ispCP OMEGA Mailserver probleme

Hallo,

ich habe ein Problem mit dem Mailserver mit ispCP, und zwar will dieser nicht wirklich laufen, installiert ist alles und es läuft auch, normalerweise, bis auf das der Mailserver irgendwie down ist obwohl er läuft.

Die Ursache ist mir unklar, mitlerweise habe ich schon Monday um rat gebeten, doch da er denke ich mal genug zu tun hab möcht ich ihn auch nicht so argh nerven und ich denke mal es gibt hier auch Leute die das selbe Problem haben oder vielleicht mal haben werden.

ich habe leider von Server-Verwaltung nicht viel Ahnung... hat ispCP alle Rechte die es braucht?

muss man da was von Hand erstellen, damit alles läuft?

hasst du mal im Wiki und in der Dokumentation nachgeschaut ob da was dazu steht?

MIttlerweile weiß ich auch woran es liegt:

Port 25 lauscht nur Intern.. nicht extern.
Muss das also in der Konfiguration ändern. Doch dabei hab ich mir den kompletten Server kaputt gemacht, also Reinstall.. Nun hab ich auch keinen Bock mehr und Suche mir jetzt jemanden der das für mich installieren kann und zwar so das alles Funktioniert.

Dazu aber gleich mehr in einem Extra Thread.

Gut das Problem war folgendes:

Sendmail war Installtiert (!) nach Neuinstallation (!) immernoch. Obwohl es eigentlich weg sein sollte.

Gut dann haben wir es versucht zu Deinstallieren, erfolglos, denn wie will man etwas Deinstallieren, wenn es nicht mal auf dem System drauf ist (scheinbar).

Naja wir haben dann die ProzessID einfach gekillt

seitdem Funktioniert alles Wunderbar.

Hallo ich bin selber ein Besitzer von
ispCP ich habe auch die Neuste Versipn und bei mir geht
alles da muss du mal dein Server Komplett neu drauf machen und dann Installiern bei mir
war es nämlich auch am Anfang mit den Mail scheiß und jetzt geht es alles nur duch ein Fehler aufen server
aber Neu machen da hilft viel weil habe ich auch gemacht und dann war wirklich alle4s Probleme weg =)

Hoffentlich konnte ich dir Weiter Helfen wenn nicht
dann weiß ich selber nicht mehr weiter

Bekanntes oder unbekanntes problem...

Erstmal ein Hallo an alle und hoffe das ihr mir helfen könnt

Also ich verwende auch ISP auf meinem Server alles funkt soweit nur der MAilserver scheint ein bischen zu spinnen wollte an dieser stelle um hilfe fragen...
Er empfängt problemlos Nachrichten von Yahoo und untereinander allerdings sobald ich eine Nachricht an Yahoo senden möchte funkt gar nichts mehr

Habe mir die letzten nachmittage daran schon ausgebissen

Wäre echt super wenn mir da jem weiterhelfen könnte lg EliteTiger
(zu der neuinstallation hatte iwie keinen erfolg und die prozessid killn ?? weiß ich nich wies geht :/ linux anfänger halt )
